Carrie Underwood Falls On Stage During Performance

Carrie Underwood didn’t let a little slippery stage mishap stop the show at the Carolina Country Music Fest this past weekend.

The “Before He Cheats” artist, 41, delivered a headlining performance at the rained-out music festival in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina,  on Sunday, June 9, which had an ending that was “quite unexpected,” according to her.  Video footage which was obtained by TMZ, Underwood took a slightly awkward tumble while exiting the back of the stage, as she seemed to lose her footing while descending on some stairs. Some fans even took notice of the moment, as they can be heard screaming, “She fell!”

The Country Music Star, didn’t let the fall or the sudden downpour spoil the fun of her set. She still finished in the midst of the heavy storm. “We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!” Underwood captioned in an Instagram video of her belting out tunes in the pouring rain before her fall.

In another post, she seemed to be in good spirits after the rainy South Carolina performance and her slip, writing, “Well, last night sure was fun! And though the ending was quite unexpected, it made for a night we’ll never forget! 🌧️💧☔️ Thanks for being awesome, #MyrtleBeach!!!”
